Who teaches the IGCSE and A-Level classes in Kuwait?
The classes are taught by Mr Hosni, Head of Science at a British school in Kuwait, with more than 20 years of teaching Biology and Chemistry — 16 of them at A-level. He is the author of 8 published textbooks with over 20,000 copies sold, and he marks students' work the way examiners do. Every class, note and solved past paper on this page comes from one teacher, not a tutoring agency roster.
Why students in Kuwait choose Chem-Bio
Most online tutors teach from another continent. Mr Hosni lives and teaches in Kuwait, works inside the British-curriculum school system here every day, and knows exactly what students at Kuwait's English and British schools face in their Edexcel and Cambridge exams.
-
Taught on Kuwait time
Live Zoom lessons are scheduled around the Kuwaiti school day — typically late afternoon and evening (GMT+3) — so no timezone maths and no midnight classes.
-
A teacher inside Kuwait's schools
As Head of Science at a British school in Kuwait, Mr Hosni teaches the same specifications your school follows and sees the same exam sessions your child sits.
-
In-person consultations by appointment
Based in Kuwait, Mr Hosni offers by-appointment, in-person academic consultations alongside the live online programme.
-
Everything included
Notes, solved past papers, weekly homework marked with feedback, recordings of every lesson, and direct WhatsApp support until the last exam day.
A note from Mr Hosni
It's been more than 20 years since I started teaching Biology and Chemistry, and most of those years have been here in Kuwait. Why does that matter for your grade? Because the students I teach online in the evening are sitting the same exams as the students I teach at school in the morning. I see the same specification, the same sessions, the same mistakes — every single year.
And when it comes to those mistakes, the pattern is very very consistent. Students in Kuwait don't lose marks because they don't understand the content. They lose marks because they don't write what we call the marking points — the exact phrases the mark scheme is looking for. That's why every class in this programme ends with past-paper questions, and that's why your homework comes back marked, with the lost marks explained.
If you are in Kuwait, you can also meet me in person, by appointment, before you decide. Ask your questions, look at the notes and the solved papers, and then join. That's all — I hope this page was helpful and I wish you all best of luck in your exam.

Results from students in Kuwait
The answers are keyed to all mark-scheme points and written so clearly that the logic clicks. I practised the revision questions daily and earned an A — my 6-mark technique improved the most.
Amina Al-Fadhli · IAL Biology · Kuwait
This course saved a lot of time, as I used to look up the answers in the mark scheme. I used these questions along with the notes and it worked like magic.
Mariam Khaled · IAL Chemistry · Kuwait
I used to waste so much time scrolling through mark schemes and still not understand the answer. The videos helped me solve along with the teacher and finally see why each mark was given.
