Every Biology & Chemistry specification checklist in one place
Pick your exam board and subject, then tick off each specification point as you revise. Each checklist follows the official Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge content statements.
Why revise from the specification? Because every exam question is written to test one of its statements, so it is the most reliable revision list you can have. The checklists below cover six courses: Edexcel International GCSE Biology (4BI1) and Chemistry (4CH1), Cambridge IGCSE Biology (0610/0970) and Chemistry (0620/0971), and Edexcel International A Level Biology (WBI11–WBI16) and Chemistry (WCH11–WCH16). Each one keeps the exam board's own wording and flags the content that only some candidates sit, such as Cambridge Extended (Supplement) points or Edexcel Paper 2 statements. Not sure which course you are on? Check the code on your statement of entry: 4BI1 and 4CH1 are Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, 0610 and 0620 are Cambridge IGCSE, and codes starting with W are Edexcel IAL units. Then open your checklist, tick what you can already explain, and revise the gaps first.
