About these live classes
The IAL Biology Live Classes are weekly live Zoom tuition for the Edexcel International Advanced Level Biology 2026–2027 exams , taught by Mr. Hosni — Head of Science, author of 8 published textbooks and tutor of a Pearson Edexcel world's-highest IAL Biology mark. The courses follow the Edexcel IAL Biology specification in full.

Questions students and parents ask
Is the payment monthly, or for the entire course?
One payment covers the entire course — it is not a subscription and nothing else is charged later. $260 covers all your live lessons, the doubled revision classes, mock exams, homework marking, recordings and all course materials.
Do I receive all the materials?
Yes. Once you register, you receive all the notes, solved past papers and quizzes — the complete material library from the Chem Bio instant-access course is included with the live classes at no extra cost, delivered through Google Classroom.
How many students are in each session?
A maximum of 14. Enrolment is selective and each group is kept deliberately small so every student is involved: you can raise your hand at any time, you may be asked questions directly to check you are following, and interactive quizzes appear on screen during the lesson to keep the whole group engaged.
What language are the classes taught in?
Everything is in English — the lessons, the notes, the solved past papers, the homework feedback and the exam practice. It is the same language you will sit the Edexcel IAL exam in.
How can parents follow how it's going?
Two ways: the Progress App shows grades, homework and test scores in real time — students and parents see the same live view — and a weekly report covers progress, attendance and homework submission. Topic tests and mock scores are tracked per unit, so weak areas are caught before the real exam.
What if I miss a live class?
Every lesson is recorded and posted to Google Classroom along with the notes and homework, so you can catch up at your convenience. Recordings stay available for 2 years on all your devices.
Does the A2 course cover the Unit 5 scientific article?
Yes — in full detail. The pre-release scientific article for IAL Biology Unit 5 (WBI15) is discussed line by line during class, with the style of questions Edexcel asks about it and how to answer them for full marks.
How many classes are there in total?
The course runs weekly through the year, and the number of classes increases gradually as the exam approaches, based on what the group needs. The syllabus finishes 45 days before your exam, then classes double during revision — sometimes three per week — plus 3 mock exams per unit under real exam conditions. All of it is covered by the one payment.
Which timezone are the classes in?
All times are Kuwait and Saudi time (GMT+3): AS Biology on Mondays at 5:00 PM (6:00 PM UAE · around 3:00 PM UK) and A2 Biology on Sundays at 7:00 PM (8:00 PM UAE · around 5:00 PM UK). If you cannot attend live from your timezone, the recordings are posted the same day.
How is this different from the instant-access course?
The instant-access course is self-paced video. The live classes add direct interaction every week — questions answered in the moment, homework marked personally with feedback, timed topic tests and mock exams, and a teacher who knows your name and your weak topics. The instant-access materials are included with the live course anyway, so you get both.
Is there a refund policy?
The refund policy is published on the Chem Bio membership site. If you are unsure the course fits, watch the free lesson first or message Mr. Hosni on WhatsApp before enrolling.
Can my child contact Mr. Hosni directly with questions?
Yes. Students ask questions between lessons in the private WhatsApp group, and Mr. Hosni answers personally — not a support desk. Students are also welcome to stay after class when they have more questions.
